Monday - this was my snowy run - five and a quarter. In wintry temps (20's).
Tuesday - speed work on the tready. I decided not to freeze my buns off again and instead got on the treadmill for a six miler with six 800's. My pace for the half mile repeats was around eight minutes per mile. I was pretty satisfied with this workout and hope I can do more of these runs in the future (doubtful).
Wednesday - Yoga. This is part of my commitment to include one strength/stretching activity per week. It's also a weak attempt to do all my stretching at once, since I often have to skip it post run due to a wee one demanding my immediate attention post run.
Thursday - 4.5 miles with Baby. She was less than cooperative, so this run was full of starts and stops.
Friday - rest.
Saturday - 8 miles at nine min pace. Temps in the 50's with beautiful sun and bright blue skies - perfect conditions for a Saturday morning run in
Sunday - a recovery run good for three and a quarter. It was also a family run, so all of us were together (and my husband pushed the jogger!)
My legs are pretty shot right now - in a good way. I know my best bet is to rest up and recover so I can do it all again (with more mileage and greater speed, of course).

Wow, 27 miles! :O That's amazing you can run that much in a week. Than again, I'm not a runner so I don't know what's considered good or bad lol.
Nice job! Our week was very similar, and I also ran 8 yesterday, and did an easy family 3 this morning with my husband pushing the jogger. :) I hope this Sunday recovery run becomes a tradition, b/c I would love for him to get into running, too!
Great job! That's an awesome week!
That's some impressive mileage there, mama! I still struggle with getting in a good amount and I'm hoping to make 20-mile weeks a regular thing come spring. (I have no hope for the Midwest winter-BOB combination.) Keep up the good work!
Awesome job with the mileage!! That's close to what I'm doing right now in my 8th week of marathon training! WTG mama!
That's awesome!! 27 miles..YAY!! I can't wait till I'm back to logging that kind of number a week.
